Flows on the Kings River are from snowmelt in the Kings River Basin. Ideal flows are from 1000 to 9000 CFS, though we can run trips down to 800 and up to 20,000 CFS.

" This was our second trip up to the Kings River. The staff of Whitewater Voyages outdid themselves. It was great to see many of the same guides and get to meet the new arrivals since last year. As always the staff was very nice, helpful and lots of fun to share the river and camp with. There attention to safety and professionalism made the two day trip on Kings River a great time for all. On our One Day Joy Ride trips you arrive at our base camp by 9:30 A.M. for a day of rafting (10 river miles), a hearty lunch, plus beverages and snacks at trip's end.
With this option you arrive at our base camp between 7 P.M. and 11 P.M. the night before your trip, relax into a deep sandy-river-beach sleep under brilliant stars with sounds of the majestic Kings River gliding past nearby, and then enjoy two hearty meals (breakfast and lunch) a day of rafting (10 river miles) and beverages and snacks at trip's end.
These trips generally end around 4 P.M., allowing plenty of time for a relaxed drive home.
